Work In Progress albums with Mixed Media
These albums sow the long process, step by step, how to use different mediums to develop an image.
This is the final image.
I made a digital montage to see how it will look, when painted. I used the selected images of the more, than 200, collected butterflies.
Oh Happy Day! I sealed it all over (even the background, and the side of the wooden frame...found a nice sealer at Hobby Lobby (Kamar varnish from Krylon), that worked well over both mediums, made the wire, too!

The first step: after a very light pencil sketch, I started to cover some parts with masking fluid. Also covered larger parts with a stencil film...it was pretty complicated, but I was/am still learning...
After a lot of fight with the branches, partly over-painted, adding more shadows and light, finally I declared it DONE!
